Recently Betsy from "Morning Living" had a chance to visit the Philadelphia International Flower Show. She took her camera with her to take some amazing pictures and here's what she had to say:
"For years we’ve discussed the Philadelphia International Flower Show on Morning Living. This year it became not just a topic of conversation, but a mission. Despite record seasonal snowfall in Philly, my Mom, my friend Leslie and I made a day trip from New Jersey to the convention center for this historic show -- a tradition since 1829. As promised by show designer Sam Lemheney, it was a spectacular spectacular. Birds flew through some exhibits, vegetable gardens flourished mid-winter and trees flowered completely out of season. With streams burbling, it was easy to find landscaping inspiration. My small lens couldn’t do justice to the larger displays, but I did try to capture some of the unique cut flower arrangements. Take a look at a few of my pictures -- hopefully you can see the flowers and containers deserve equal credit!"
