Got picky eaters at home? Want to start an edible garden? Disappointed by the quality of school lunches? Worried about the burden childhood obesity will place on our health care system and workforce in the future? Confused about what’s healthy for your family?

Whether your concerns about kids’ nutrition are personal or political, we hope you’ll tune in tomorrow for the series debut of "Feeding Our Future," a special presentation hosted by Bill Telepan airing Tuesdays at 11 am ET/8 am PT. (If you missed Bill's two-hour special that inspired this series, you can get caught up with the show recap, recipes, and resources already online.)

Over the next five weeks, we’ll tackle every side of the debate over what our children should be eating and explore what can be done to ensure the next generation can grow up healthy and strong. Our guests will be chefs, activists, policy makers, parents, and even a few kids, including:

You’ll find our full schedule of guests after the jump, and be sure to keep checking the blog for recaps and recipes posted after every show.

Tune in live on Tuesdays at 11 am ET/8 am PT, and join us live at 866-675-6675.

On August 10th, learn what two top New York City chefs feed their own kids and what it’s like to go from the restaurant kitchen to volunteering as a cook on the cafeteria line when Jonathan Waxman of Barbuto (and Top Chef Masters!) and Zak Pelaccio of Fatty Crab and Fatty Cue join the show.

On August 17th, White House chef and Senior Policy Advisor for Healthy Food Initiatives Sam Kass will join us to explain the First Lady’s “Let’s Move” initiative and discuss how much can be done on a policy level to improve kids’ health.

On August 24th, instead of just talking about kids, we’ll talk to kids: Three students from the schools where Bill volunteers will join us to talk about what they do and don’t like to eat and why. There will be a test…a blind taste test, that is! We’ll see if the kids prefer processed foods or Bill’s healthy, freshly made versions.

On August 31st, chef Alice Waters will tell us how her Edible Schoolyard program has made gardens grow nationwide, and April Neujean of Edible Schoolyard New Orleans will explain why school gardens are not just about better diets, but higher grades as well.

On September 7th, nutritionist Susan Rubin and filmmaker Amy Kalafa will talk about why they became “Two Angry Moms,” and share ways other concerned parents and citizens can get active in the cause of promoting healthier food for all Americans.
