"Homegrown," our twice-weekly gardening program, is a much beloved staple on Martha Stewart Living Radio. But it shocked us all when we were reminded that this week marked Homegrown's FIFTH anniversary on the air! Tony and Stacey celebrated with their top five gardening tips of all time and two very special guests-- former "Homegrown" co-hosts, Andrew Beckman and Margaret Roach. A very happy occasion, indeed!

Tony and Stacey's five bits of garden wisdom for five years of "Homegrown:"

  • What artist did the "Deck the Halls" song during the break on Homegrown this afternoon?

  • I just love your show! I listen to you on Wednesday morning when I am going into work,it is a repeat of your show from Thursday, but it makes getting up and going to work at 4:30 in the morning a little easier,at least I can listen to two people who are truely happy with their jobs and so knowledgeable about gardening, here in Michigan it's cold and nasty, but you two make Spring not so far away-Thank You
I can't wait to be in my garden and use some of your ideals! Judy Burkholder

  • [...] you were listening today to Homegrown, you heard Stacey and me talking about how easy it is to propagate houseplants, IF you know which [...]

  • Just started an herb garden, with tomato plants as well. They are in raised beds. I found I need to trim the hedges for more sun light. Your show is great, very informative and fun!!

  • I love your program. I do miss Andrew, however, Stacy is doing a great job and you've come a long way with self confidence since Andrew left you on your own to lead the show. Great job. I wish sirius would replay your programs more often and definitely earlier than 3 am. Don't know who to make this suggestion to, but perhaps you could pass it along. Actually would love to hear you more often during the spring and summer season at least. Perhaps you can help me with my Daphne shrubs. They have become splayed-out in the center (don't exactly know to describe this and very woody at bottom and center of plant. New growth on the ends of branches. Any suggestions, and what should I use to feed them? thanks from a totally Martha fan. Just love your program.
