Raisin and Oat Scones from the current Everyday Food. (actually half are made with raisins, the other half with chocolate chips!)
Fancy green beans with pan roasted tomaoes, garlic, scallions, and olive oil. Seriously stop steaming veggies if your family wants flavor.
Bok choy!! A really easy, "no recipe" recipe. Sear bok choy in neutral oil, add 1/3 cup liquid, steam till cooked through, then finish with chopped garlic, soy sauce, and rice wine vinegar.
