During yesterday's "Mad Hungry" special, Lucinda talked with Amanda Hesser, NY Times food editor and Merrill Stubbs, chef and food writer about their work on "The NY Times Essential Cookbook" and the blog, Food52, that grew from that experience. For five years, the pair tested over 1,400 recipes for the book which was released this past October. Throughout the hour, they discussed their favorite recipe titles (Heavenly Hots and The Most Voluptuous Cauliflower), the criteria used to determine which recipes made the cut, and how they came to create Food52. Amazing interview with these 2 great women. Lucinda is a genius at creating a comfortable conversation with her guests. Loved hearing about Food52.
Lucinda should have 2 hours a week on the radio not just one! She is awesome.
