This Valentine's Day I wanted to do something different and special. I wracked my brain for ideas when serendipity stepped in and helped me out. As I was decluttering a cupboard, I found my husband's chocolate chip cookie recipe that he received from a class in grade school. It's basic but very tasty. Anyway, I've decided to make him a Valentine's surprise and bake them adding my own twist (dark chocolate pieces mixed with the traditional chocolate chips).
