All week, we're talking chocolate and Valentine's Day treats on "Living Today," so today we were joined by pastry chef and children's book author Martin Howard. While we enjoyed talking cupcakes (check out his killer recipe for Billy Barry Blue Cupcakes) and sweet treats with Martin, we were more intrigued by his eclectic career path which is anything but the traditional for a pastry chef. After having worked as a pastry chef at some of New York City's finest restaurants (The Rainbow Room, Brasserie, etc.), Martin threw in his chef's coat in 2009 to use his singing and performing talents as drag persona Chocolatina, Queen of the Dessert. Martin's most recent role includes that of children's book author. His first title, "Tina Cocolina: Queen of the Cupcakes," was released in October.
