I can't remember the last time I picked up a cookbook or decorating book for recipe ideas or tips for making my apartment a little prettier. When looking for inspiration and ideas, my initial thought is always to consult my favorite blogs. For me, it's the combination of the casual tone and stunning photographs that makes a blog both accessible and informative.
For a lot of up-and-coming designers, cooks, and artists, blogs have become the best way to launch a business, connect with others in the industry, and maybe even land a book deal. On Thursday's "Living Today," Amy Beth Cupp Dragoo, designer, artist, and founder of her own blog, ABCD Design, talked with guest host Brian Kelsey about how she uses social media in her career. - When writing a blog, be the best version of yourself, post original content, and write about that which you are passionate or else, you'll run out of things to write.
