Saturday's Dinner Party
Posted by Betsy Karetnick
Some of my bff's joined me for dinner last weekend. It was a kebab moment so that I could feed everyone, including pescatarians. I couldn't decide on a dessert, so I made three to celebrate spring... strawberry shortcakes, lemon tarts (I used a Martha Stewart lemon tassie recipe for them!), and brownies. Check out my photos below. Also, I've included links to some of the recipes I made.
Asian Cabbage Slaw
Potatoes Vinaigrette
1 Asparagus with a feta and dill vinaigrette
2 Potatoes Vinaigrette - one of my fave EDF recipes
3 Asian Cabbage Slaw from Everyday Food
4 Shrimp from the barbie
5 Marinated lamb kebobs
6 Tzaziki sauce for the kabobs
7 Strawberry shortcake remnants-- this recipe is from my favorite baking book, Joanne Chang's "Flour."
8 Lemon tarts adapted from the lemon tassie recipe in "Martha Stewart's Cookies"

I love all your dishes and everything looks so good! It would be fun to have a plate exchange!

Anything lemon is wonderful. I have been dieting and these are calling to me.
