WHAT TO SAVE:
REMEMBERING REUSABLE BAGS
Never forget to bring reusable bags to the grocery with these two tips:
- Always keep an empty bag in your daily work/school bag
- Get a new pad of paper to utilize as your ‘shopping list’ pad and add the word ‘bags’ to the top of each piece of paper
WHAT TO TRY:
SOAP FIRST, WATER SECOND
Wondering how to wash oil off of plastic (which never seems to work)? It's easy. Just apply dishwasher soap on the plastic surface and use your fingers to spread the soap all over the surface, making sure to cover all areas. Rub the surface as you spread. Now rinse and enjoy the squeaky clean sound!
WHAT TO WATCH:
"SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE"
(8PM) - FOX
Some of the most gorgeous dances in the show's history aired last night, and tonight, two of the top 20 dancers are eliminated. Also, Jessie J performs "Who You Are."
WHAT COULD CHANGE YOUR LIFE:
RUBBER BANDS IN THE KITCHEN
For faster, crisper cuts of chives (or scallions), use a rubber band to hold the herbs together. As you chop along the stems, simply move the rubber band back. The elastic will keep the chives taut and steady, making them easier to slice through and less likely to get squashed in the process.
