Season 7 of Food Network's very popular "The Next Food Network Star" premiered on Sunday evening. The show kicked off with 15 finalists, each vying for a coveted spot hosting his or her own Food Network show. Each finalist was presented with two challenges during the episode: create a breakfast dish that showcases their culinary point of view and cook for a panel of Hollywood's press. After dishing out subpar French toast and gnocchi that, according to judge Giada De Laurentiis, "weren't gnocchi," Howie Drummond was kicked off. The Colorado-based radio host chatted with Ryan on Monday's "Living Today" about his short-lived experience on the show. Click below to listen to the interview.
