Collecting Cookbooks

Posted by Lisa Mantineo

It’s Collecting Week here at Martha Stewart Living Radio, and today the "Everyday Food" team was treated to a special visit by vintage cookbook enthusiast, Bonnie Slotnick.  Bonnie has joined us over the years to talk about some of the special books she finds and sells in her store, and this visit was no different.

With precious cargo in tow, Bonnie shared with us some of the handwritten notes, cookbooks, and recipes that are currently the popular trend in cookbook collecting.

On the inside binding of Lenna and Margaret's cookbook, there were tons of recipes clipped from newspapers and magazines from over the years, in addition to handwritten recipes and notations.
