Monday’s “Cooking Today” covered the gamut as host Hugh Acheson invited two of his fellow chefs on the program to dish about everything from modern desserts to home economics.
Momofuku Milk Bar’s Christina Tosi sat down with Hugh to talk about cookbook writing and share how she creates her modern style of desserts. Christina and Hugh discussed pickling their favorite kinds of strawberries and creating dishes that “wow” their customers.
Hugh then switched gears with Michel Nischan, CEO and founder of Wholesome Wave, and shared his passion for home economics and re-vamping school food programs to better educate children about the non-processed food they should be eating.
