Maggie Mistal
After being Director of Learning & Development for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia for several years, Maggie became Martha Stewart Living Radio’s Career Coach on satellite radio hosting "Making A Living with Maggie" for the past six years on SIRIUSXM 110. She has interviewed some of the most successful names in their fields from Martha Stewart to Sally Field to Deepak Chopra to Stephen Covey to Dilbert creator Scott Adams. She is known for sharing spot-on advice and inspiration with the many listeners who called in each week. Maggie has also appeared as an expert guest on LifeFM 106.7 in the New York Metro area as well as CBS Radio. But Maggie’s passion is her career consulting practice, working with individuals to identify their ideal careers and allowing them to make their career change. Unsatisfied employees of all levels and backgrounds seek out her coaching to get their careers on track. Top corporations such as Wyeth, PepsiCo, CIGNA, Diageo NA, and Randomhouse also seek Maggie’s help in developing their employees and managers. Maggie’s experience has positioned her to speak at leading events for career-minded professionals. She was delighted to speak at the Women’s Congress and has been twice featured as a speaker at America’s largest one-day conference on philanthropy in New York City. In addition to coaching, radio. speaking, Maggie shares career advice in print and online. She has contributed to the "Uncommon Wisdom from Extraordinary Minds" section of Whole Living magazine (formerly Body+Soul). Maggie has also been quoted in articles for the New York Times, the New York Post, the Washington Post, FoxBusiness.com, WallStreetJournal.com, New York Newsday, USA Today, Forbes.com, Shape Magazine and the Boston Globe. She writes her own blog as well as posts for the Martha Stewart Living Radio Blog and the Whole Living blog. Maggie is proud to have been featured in the alumni profiles of Villanova Magazine, her Alma-mater. Maggie is an affiliate coach of Vocation Vacations -the only company of its kind dedicated to enriching people’s lives by allowing them to test-drive their dream jobs. She also is a career development trainer for Focused Consulting LLC. You can find Maggie supporting the efforts of Streetwise Partners which helps NYC's unemployed and under-employed. With her spare time, she explores her interests in impressionist painting, cabaret and the amazing city she calls home, Manhattan.
